Overview

A day in the hills above Đà Nẵng, about an hour from Hội An. Ride the cable car over the forest to the top station, then walk the Golden Bridge early, before the tour groups arrive.

The rest of the day is at your pace: the flower gardens, Linh Ứng Pagoda on the hilltop, the French Village and the indoor Fantasy Park, which is included in the ticket. It is 8 to 10 degrees cooler at the top than on the coast.

What should I wear?

Layers. The top is often in cloud and 8 to 10 degrees cooler than the coast. Bring a light jacket.

Is it very busy?

Weekends and holidays are busy. We go up early to reach the bridge before the crowds.

Is it suitable for older travellers?

Yes. The cable car and lifts do most of the climbing; expect about 3 km of walking.
