Overview

An afternoon in Hội An Ancient Town, from the old merchant houses to the Japanese Bridge, with a guide who knows which families still live upstairs. The streets in the centre are closed to cars, so it is an easy walk with children.

As the light goes, board a wooden boat on the Thu Bồn River and watch the lanterns come on along the bank. The tour ends at the night market, close to the restaurants.

Yes. The centre is flat and closed to cars in the afternoon and evening.

Is it busy at full moon?

Yes. On the full-moon evening each month the old town is at its busiest. We start the boat a little earlier.

Can we stay in town afterwards?

Yes. Tell your guide and skip the drop-off; taxis are easy to find.
