Three days in the valley of Mai Châu, three and a half hours from Hanoi. You stay both nights at Mai's Stilt House, one of our local partners, a Thai family home among the rice fields.
Cycle between the villages on flat lanes, watch the weaving looms at Bản Lác and help cook rice in bamboo over the fire. It is a quiet, short trip that fits well before or after a longer tour.

Mattresses with mosquito nets upstairs, in private rooms or a shared space. Shared bathroom with hot water.
Do I need to be a good cyclist?
No. The lanes are flat and the rides are short. You can walk instead.
Can we do it in two days?
